Eddie Jay Wade

Eddie Jay Wade

Eddie was born in 2003 in Andalucia in Spain and in bilingual speaking both English and Spanish. He started loving bikes from a very young age, he rode his pushbike at just 2 and a half without even trying it with stabilizers. He always loved his dads motorbikes or anything with an engine. At 3 and a half he got a quad for Christmas which he rode non-stop and sometimes even fell asleep while riding.

In 2010 at age 6 Eddie competed in his first motocross meeting finishing 3rd overall and regularly finishing in the top 3 at multiple meetings the same year. In 2011 despite being just 7 years old he switched to the 65cc category, disheartened by the endless mechanical flaws with the smaller bikes; he was too young to race the 65 in Spain so he rode selected meetings in the UK finishing in the top 3 and concentrating heavily on training.

The directory of training for Valecian Motocycle Federation Pac Rico, who is the 6 times Spanish national and Supercross champion granted a special dispensation for Eddie to race the final rounds. Eddie impressed him enough to be included into a small select group of riders who he trains on a weekly basis.

Since then Eddie has gone from strength to strength accumulating many impressive accolades along the way. Along with motorcycles Eddie is a keen sportsman playing football, basketball and running for the school . He also enjoys swimming, jet skiing, body boarding, wakeboarding, snowboarding and unicycling. His knick name is Sport Billy!
