In the ten years he has been competing at the highest level, Shaun has earned a reputation for an outstanding ability to push for results at the forefront of MXGP. This has attracted the attention of Honda, Yamaha, Kowasaki, Redbull KTM and currently Wilvo Virus Performance.
Shaun is a two time British Champion winning in 2008 & 2014. He also won the Belgian Championship in 2011. The impressive list goes on to include Grand Prix wins for MX2 in 2009 and MX1 in 2013. He has graced the prestigious Motocross of Nations four times representing Team Great Britain.
Born in Gauldry, Fife in Scotland in 1988 Shaun had the guidance and support of a seasoned Grand Prix rider, his father, Willie Simpson. With the technical and mechanical support of his younger brother Stefan, the Simpson clan has been at the peak of the sport for a decade after turning professional in 2005.
In that time Shaun has earned the following of a legion of fans, Simpson Army Fan Club, not just for his ability on the track but his friendliness and accessibility off the track. He is another true ambassador for the sport.
